The congressional career of veteran anti-Trump firebrand Al Green is officially coming to an end. In a dramatic Democrat runoff primary forced by Texas’ redistricting maps, 78-year-old Green was knocked out by 38-year-old Representative Christian Menefee. Green’s defeat closes the chapter on one of the House’s most vocal progressive partisans, who spent years using his platform to target the America First agenda.
