The Intolerance of Oprah

I have had the opportunity to meet and spend time with Oprah Winfrey. I was asked to be a co-host with her on a show focusing on Prevention.  On that show she featured my book, “The Awakening of a Surgeon.”  At the time, I found her to be far from someone only interested in superficial appearances.

Unfortunately, times have changed as has her ability to asses the world and events transpiring around our country. She appears to be in need of an Awakening of her own.

Oprah recently has made statements and accusations about those in Our country who have called into question the policies and actions of the current administration that show a lack of tolerance for the diversity of thought and opinion.

Her statements call into question if she, in fact, believes in the right of Free Speech provided through The Constitution.  The issue of her intolerance to others is presented in my segment on this week’s Operation Freedom.  Click here to listen online or to access an mp3 download.
