3. Following two consecutive meetings, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell announced that interest rates will remain unchanged. The Fed is currently assessing the implications of the ongoing conflict in Iran on the nation’s economy. After implementing three rate cuts in late 2025, the benchmark range remains at 3.5%–3.75%.
